Cello diaries

Once again me and Cellai are traveling in Germany.
In June we traveled to Bremen, a really beautiful and at the same time interesting city which i would like to visit once more. I met really good musicians over there and of course i learnt many things from this trip. I did not pass the examination to enter the university, but i got some experience i could only get if i went there.
On the 10th and the 11th of July me and Cellai had an examination in the university of Berlin. I have to admit that i have never felt more stressful, curiously i played the pieces better than i ever had and that makes me feel more secure for the examination that I am going to give now in Freiburg.

The thing is that since the whole story with the exams started I have studied really much and as the time goes by and I keep that rhythm I feel more confident on my playing. Of course its not only the study but the people i have met in Berlin, people with ideas, aims.. who made me feel more courageous whenever i had my “downs”.

On the 28th of Juli I’m flying to Athens for about a month, but by the beginning of September i will be back to my beloved city of Berlin in order to attend to the Beethoven Seminar for Music in the University of Arts of Berlin (for which i got a scolarship by the way). The new circle of my life in Berlin will start in September.

Dalai+Cellai

Some hindrances appeared in my daily program and life. First of all I do not have internet anymore thats the reason that stopped me from writing in this blog. I appeared in several music scenes with many artists these times, unfortunately due to the upcoming Musical Examinations in some Conservatories here in Germany that i have to attend to, I decided to stop playing in Lives for the next 3 months. I guess thats all for now..

The beginning.

How as important but in the same time fascinating and interesting this significance may be described as. Everything starts as everything ends. Well now, that could be the start of a monologue not anyone would gladly like to read, but where i want to conclude to, is that Music is something that makes the last sentences not really agree with. The truth is i don’t really know the beginning of it ( i myself am fond of the most rather romantic point of view , that it was this Music which created everything such as the coincidences of it) and i can’t even imagine how the end could be.

As a young girl I had the luck to be grown up by two (besides all the other) really cultural and educated young parents, who gave me the efforts to search a bit deeper in my self and spirit. The coincidences of which I can only realize now. Without trying to be idealistic, I personally believe that the people who SHOWED me the WAY to Music are the ones who showed me how life is. One of them is my first cello teacher Gouzios Dimitrios , with whom (after about 10 years studying Music not less than the living itself with) i learned that Music has many faces, scents, touch and flavors. The least thing i could do is to thank him for showing me HOW to make my first steps into this (rather new for me) world.

The beauty of all things has its source deep inside our spirit and soul. That is what makes each piece of art unique ,respectable. The beauty is in every single thing even in a really painful moment or situation. What we should do is dig it out and show it to the rest of us…
